Tripindi Shradh is the most powerful ancestral rite in the Vedic tradition — prescribed specifically for families where three or more generations of ancestors have not received proper Pind Daan or Shraddha rites.
Kashi is the only Tirtha where Tripindi Shradh can truly be performed with full potency — because it is the city of Lord Yamraj (deity of death) and Lord Shiva simultaneously, and both grant their blessings here.
Day 1 — Sankalp & Tarpan at Manikarnika Ghat: The Pandit takes the complete family lineage as Sankalpa. Water tarpan is offered to three generations of ancestors on both sides.
Day 2 — Pinda Daan for Three Generations: Three separate sets of pindas are prepared, one each for paternal grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather.
Day 3 — Tripindi Havan & Narayan Bali: A complete fire ritual with Vishnu Sahasranama recitation for liberation of all unappeased souls.
Ancestral Liberation: Three generations of ancestors receive liberation simultaneously.
Breaking Family Patterns: Inherited patterns of suffering, debt, and disease in the family line are addressed at their karmic root.
Pitru Dosha Removal: This is the most thorough remedy for even the most severe Pitru Dosha.
