1. Cancellation by the Devotee
To cancel a confirmed booking, contact us immediately by WhatsApp (+91 95194 24647) or email (info@kashitirthpuja.com) with your Booking Reference number (format: KTP-YYYY-XXXXX).
The cancellation timeline is calculated from the date and time we receive your written cancellation request, not from when a puja might have been performed.
Before Muhurta Confirmation
If you cancel after submitting the booking form but before our team has confirmed a Muhurta date and assigned a Pandit, you are entitled to a full 100% refund. No questions asked.
7 or More Days Before the Puja Date
If you cancel 7 or more days before the confirmed puja date, we will refund 80% of the Dakshina paid. A 20% processing and preparation fee is retained to cover Pandit scheduling, material procurement, and platform costs already incurred.
48 Hours to 7 Days Before the Puja Date
Cancellations received between 48 hours and 7 days before the confirmed puja date will receive a 50% refund. By this stage, puja materials have typically been purchased, the Pandit has been scheduled exclusively, and preparation work has begun.
Within 48 Hours of the Puja Date
Cancellations received within 48 hours of the confirmed puja date or after the puja has been performed are not eligible for a refund. At this point, the Pandit is fully committed and all preparations are complete.
2. Rescheduling
We understand that plans change. If you would like to reschedule rather than cancel, contact us as early as possible. We will do our best to accommodate a new date at no additional charge, subject to Pandit and Muhurta availability. Rescheduling requests received less than 48 hours before the puja date may not always be possible.
One rescheduling per booking is offered free of charge. A second or subsequent reschedule may incur an administrative fee of ₹200.
3. Cancellation by KashiTirthPuja
In rare cases, we may need to cancel a confirmed booking due to circumstances beyond our control (Pandit unavailability due to illness, natural disaster, temple closure, local emergency). In such cases:
- You will be notified immediately by WhatsApp and email.
- We will first offer to reschedule at a mutually convenient date.
- If a reschedule is not possible or not desired, a 100% full refund will be issued within 7 business days.
4. Refund Processing
- Refunds are processed via Razorpay to the original payment source (bank account, UPI ID, or card).
- Processing time: 5–10 business days after we initiate the refund on our end. Bank timelines vary.
- Razorpay payment gateway charges (typically 2%) may be non-refundable on partial refunds.
- GST paid cannot be refunded if a GST invoice was already issued, per Indian GST law. A credit note will be issued instead where applicable.
5. Disputes
If you believe a refund has been incorrectly calculated or not received, please contact us at info@kashitirthpuja.com with your booking reference. We aim to resolve all disputes within 5 business days. If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India.
